The Bellator Lightweight Grand Prix runs through sunny San Diego.
In the main event of Bellator 300, undefeated champion Usman Nurmagomedov puts his 17-0 record and undisputed title on the line against ex-champ Brent Primus. The action goes down in the Pechanga Arena.
Round 1:
Nurmagomedov lands nasty leg kicks on Primus. Primus throws a lot of feints before ultimately clinching up with Nurmagomedov. They separate. Primus lands a leg kick and goes for a spinning backfist. Nurmgomedov lands a big elbow. Nurmagomedov hits Primus with a question mark kick. Nurmagomedov takes down Primus with ease. Nurmagomedov spends the rest of the round with dominant top position.

Round 2:
Nurmagomedov lands a knee while in the clinch. Nurmagomedov hits Primus with a right hand. Nurmagomedov throws out a hook kick. Nurmagomedov lands a jab to the body. Primus misses on a spinning backfist attempt. Primus goes for a takedown against the cage but is unsuccessful. Nurmgaomedov continues to have success in the striking department, showing great offense as well as defense.

Round 3:
Primus hits the champ with a leg kick. Primus works the jab. Nurmagomedov lands a punch to the body. Primus returns with a body kick. Primus eats a knee to the body. Nurmagomedov lands multiple kicks to the body and then to the legs.
Nurmagomedov cracks Primis with a right hand. Nurmagomedov’s combos come together, with him landing a front kick to the face in one of them.

Round 4:
Nurmagomedov pieces up Primus on the feet. Nurmagomedov and Primus enter the clinch, with the champion tripping up the challenger for a takedown. Nurmagomedov doesn’t do too much with the top position for a while, but starts to open up with strikes as the clock runs down.

Round 5:
Nurmagomedov works the jab. Nurmagomedov attacks Primus with leg kicks. Primus looks to land a big shot, but just misses on his entries. Primus is taken down by Nurmagomedov. Nurmagomedov batters the head of Primus of strikes.
Primus survives Nurmagomedov’s ground game to the final bell.
