Alexander Volkanovski TKOs Chad Mendes (Body Punch) And Wins The Fight!
UFC 232 PPV (pay-per-view) is happening now (Sat, December 29, 2018), from inside The Forum in Inglewood, California.
In the first fight of the main card, Chad Mendes meets Alexander Volkanovski in a Featherweight match. Alexander Volkanovski is on a hot streak, he has only one loss in his whole career. On the other hand, Chad Mendes has 2 losses in the last 3 fights. Here we go!

Round 1
Both fighters are KO artists. Mendes moves forward, Volkanovski with a great kick. Volkanovski is very warned, he goes for a left middle kick, but Mendes counters with a left low kick. Chad Mendes keeps his hands high, the Australian fighter controlling the middle of the Octagon.
Again high kick miss, and overhand right miss Volkanovski, great escape. Volkanovski misses over and over with those punches. Wow, what a great right hand by Chad Mendes!!! Amazing counter!
Low kick Volkanovski. Volkanovski tries to clinch up, great uppercut attempt by Mendes, but few misses on both sides. Good kick by Volkanovski. Mendes tried to take his rival down, but nothing happens, great defense. Left hook Mendes.
Left low kick Volkanovski, and jab. Left low kick Mendes. Great 1-2 Volkanovski, and amazing middle kick. Brutal counter by Chad Mendes, and left low kick Volkanovski. Three hit combo Mendes, followed by a right low kick.

Volkanovski miraculously gets up, eats uppercut, lands left low kick. Chad Mendes delivers great right hand. Wow, three or four hit combo by Chad Mendes! I think Mendes won this one.
Round 2
Fighters touch gloves. Low kick miss by the Australian. High kick blocked. Low kick Volkanovski. Wow, what a flying knee attempt by Mendes, but miss. Left middle kick Volkanovski. Wow, left hook rocked Mendes but he survives.
And great strike by Mendes, amazing punch, Volkanovski is rocked!
Mendes continues to chase his rival, delivers brutal right hand, but Volkanovski returns with a punch and now Mendes is rocked!!! What an exchange. Volkanovski attacks with a combo but Mendes escapes. Mendes looks pretty much tired.
Wow, what a combo by Volkanovski, uppercut miss by Mendez.
Chad shoots in and takes his rival down.
Volkanovski bleeds, and he gets up again. Again right hand Volkanovski, this had to hurt. Wow, what a great low kick and amazing right hand, great combo Volkanovski.
Mendes again goes for a single leg takedown, and grabs rival’s back!
Oh, it could be rear naked choke attempt, but Mendes makes a mistake, which lets rival escape. What an uppercut! What an elbow, it looks like Mendes is is in trouble!!!
Amazing left uppercut to the body, Volkanovski rocks Mendes, he goes down… that’s it, the fight is over, the referee stops it!
The Australian landed a right hook and few more punches on the ground, but this body punch ended it. What a match!!! A victory for Alexander Volkanovski!
