One punch is all it will take for Jake Paul to go from vertical to horizontal when he steps inside the squared circle with heavyweight boxing legend ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.
On Saturday, July 20, ‘The Problem Child’ will take on the former unified world champion in a bout scheduled to emanate from the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. News of the 57-year-old’s return to the ring has been polarizing, to say the least, with many pundits suggesting that Paul has bitten off a bit more than he can chew this time — no matter what the oddsmakers say.

Offering his no-nonsense prediction for how things will go, UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell suggested that Mike Tyson only needs to connect clean one time to put Paul’s lights out.
“If Tyson takes a dive it’s he’s (Paul) the favorite, but when Tyson hits him, it’s over,” Liddell told TMZ.

During his 20-year career, Mike Tyson amassed an impressive record of 50-6 with 44 of his wins coming by way of knockout. Despite not competing in a professional bout for nearly two decades, ‘The Iceman’ is confident that Tyson’s legendary power is still there, waiting to be unleashed.
“By the way, the last thing to go is power,” Liddell added. “Last thing to go is power. He hits him, it’s over”
“You’ve seen Mike. He still hits. Keep covered up man,” he advised Paul.
The fight will serve as Jake Paul’s 11th walk to the ring. A majority of his fights have come against past-their-prime MMA stars, including Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. In his last two outings, ‘The Problem Child’ has fought a couple of no-name professional fighters in an attempt to legitimize himself in the sport, but clearly, those fights weren’t bringing in the kind of money that he collected against a slew of former ONE and UFC champions.
Paul’s tussle with Tyson will air on Netflix and will be the streaming giant’s first foray into live combat sports.
