- Dana White commented on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight
- The UFC boss isn’t surprised that Francis Ngannou got knocked out by Anthony Joshua
UFC president Dana White shared his honest thoughts on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight announcement and Francis Ngannou’s KO loss to Anthony Joshua.
Mike can do whatever he wants
Commenting on the subject in his UFC 299 post-fight presser, the UFC boss pointed out that the age difference in the Paul-Tyson fight is insane. Moreover, White noted that he doesn’t take pleasure in watching old boxing legends fight but at the end of the day, it’s Tyson’s life and decision.
“He gets mad when I do this, but Mike’s 60, man,” White said. “I don’t know, what do you guys think about it? Who gives a sh*t what I think? It’s not my fight. I love Mike Tyson personally as a friend and he’s one of my favorite athletes of all time. I don’t know, let’s see what he can go in there and put together a training camp and come in. I don’t like to see guys fighting at… It’d be a 31-year age difference during that fight. You guys know what I think of that stuff,” White said.
“I think that Netflix should’ve gotten into live sports years ago,” White said. “I think they’re late to the game, but they are a force,” he added.

Dana knew that’s what Francis would’ve gotten
When asked about Ngannou’s knockout loss to Joshua, White took the opportunity to take a subtle jac at the former UFC heavyweight champ.
“I saw it on social media,” White said of AJ’s KO on Ngannou. “Going into the Fury fight, if Fury trained for the fight and didn’t show up and look like he ate Tyson Fury, that’s probably the way that fight would have ended, too.”
“You know how I feel about crossovers into boxing,” he added. “That’s how they end. Just like that.”

Joshua’s KO win over Ngannou saw him improving his winning streak to four in a row. On the other hand, “The Predator” is currently thinking about possibly returning to MMA.
As for Paul vs. Joshua, the much-awaited boxing showdown is set to take place on July 20 via Netflix.
