Check Out The Official UFC 242 Poster Ahead Of September Card
UFC 242 is just over a month away, and is headlined by a lightweight championship fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier. Ahead of the bout, check out the official poster for the event.
This UFC 242 event is going to be taking place in Abu Dhabi on September 7th. Additionally, this is the first UFC event in Abu Dhabi since UFC 112. This event in 2010, took place in an arena that was built specifically for the event, then torn down after. Subsequently, it was widely regarded as one of the worst UFC events of all time.
However, almost a decade later, the UFC will be making its return. At the top of the bill is a lightweight title unification bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier. This is Khabib’s first fight since beating Conor McGregor. On the other hand, Poirier is fresh off an interim title win against Max Holloway.

This card is primed to be action packed. Included as well, are such names like Curtis Blaydes, and Belal Muhammad. Additionally, the co main event is an exciting fight between Edson Brboza and Paul Felder. On top of that, Paul Felder will be prepared to step up, in case anything happens in the main event.
The main event marks the continuation of an attempt at cleaning up the 155lb division. Hopefully order will be restored, as the effects of Conor McGregor start waning.
