Tommy Fury is confident he will get a knockout against Jake Paul in their rematch.

On February 26, Fury handed ‘The Problem Child’ his first professional boxing loss with a split decision (76-73 x2 and 74-75). It’ll be difficult for the former YouTuber to continue his fighting career with the same hype without avenging his loss to ‘TNT.’ Therefore, a rematch between the rivals is likely.

During the post-fight press conference, Fury had this to say about his win in Saudi Arabia:

“Take nothing away from Jake Paul – he’s a good, game lad. I’m pretty sure if we get it on again in the future, I’ll be able to stop him. I feel like in the fight, if I would have pressed him a little bit more, I could have got him out of there. But at the end of the day, what more can you ask for?”

Paul vs. Fury was a close fight that featured several twists and turns. Both fighters showed flashes of potential but also struggled to solidify themselves as legitimate prospects. ‘The Problem Child’ scored a knockdown in the last round, but ‘TNT’ was too far ahead on two judge’s scorecards.

Tommy Fury believes his main event experience will pay dividends in a rematch against Jake Paul

Jake Paul had a rematch clause in his contract and plans to utilize the opportunity. Although ‘The Problem Child’ will have a chance to evolve, Tommy Fury is predicting a knockout win in their second fight. ‘TNT’ had this to say during his post-fight interview:

“At the end of the day, this was my first main event. The world was watching this fight. I have that experience behind me now. So when I go into another big dance like this, I’ll have this behind me and I’ll know how to cope with it. Having been in the ring with Jake once, I’m pretty sure I can get the stoppage next time.”

Fury’s split decision win advanced his professional boxing record to 9-0 with 4 KOs. ‘TNT’ has also reached an all-time high in popularity by taking out the former YouTuber. Only time will tell if the 23-year-old can end the rivalry in their future rematch.
