If this is the type of stuff we can expect in a post-ZUFFA Strikeforce, then sign me up. Call me a ZUFFA zombie as long as we can see more gnarly apocalyptic posters being produced. The only thing that’s missing is Josh Barnett’s silhouette atop the spewing magma, adorned in an iron-spiked suit of armor. A mecha-dragon flying over the fighters with the ability to shoot green laser beams from its eyes would be this poster’s pièce de résistance. I would buy it on a sticker and place it on the cover of every school textbook in the mid-west to let all the youth know that MMA marketing just turned the dial up to ‘ridunkulous.’ Basically, the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson poster is probably the greatest unit of marketing material we’ve seen since the Pride posters in the past (or at least a few of the early DREAM flyers). Appreciate it, love it, and more importantly light something on fire in honor of it. Just kidding about the arson part, folks. It’s just a really cool poster and we like it. Don’t ignite any fires.
