The beef between Vinny Magalhaes and Evgeni Kogan is strong

If one of these two participants were vegetarian, I would refer to this feud as ‘Soy-based artificial meat.’ However, I’m sure that Vinny Magalhaes and Evgeni Kogan eat meat. In fact, I’ve been at the dinner table with Magalhaes and have observed him eating dead animals roasted to perfection. Try referring to a hamburger as ‘dead cow meat’ and I guarantee you will think twice before you pick up that burger. I’m not saying you won’t eat it. You’ll just think twice about it, as in ‘Dude, I’m eating an entire dead cow. Awesome.’

During Vinny Magalhaes’ last fight within M-1, he claims Evgeni Kogan (the Director of Operations for M-1 Global) was cheering for his opponent to defeat him. Pretty wild accusations, but we even caught up with Vinny to clear up the situation. While he still views M-1 as a great promotion to fight for, the guy just can’t stand Evgeni Kogan. Last night on his Twitter, he revealed that Evgeni Kogan is allegedly punishing him by not releasing him from his M-1 contract and forcing him to only compete at the end of his contract.

“After having their highest ratings in 2 shows which I was part of, and the lowest in 2 shows which i wasn’t, I highly believe that I’m somehow important for M-1 to get some recognition in the US, after all, I was on TUF, fought in the biggest stage of MMA, and I’m a current ADCC champion. I also believe that Mr. Vadim Finkelstein and the majority of the M-1 employees and fighters would be glad to have me showcasing my skills more often, but since my manager was already told by Mr. @EvgeniKogan that he won’t let me fight until the end of my contract, as a punishment for me speaking the truth about him, when he was (admittedly) rooting for another fighter against me. I guess you guys won’t see me fighting until I’m signed by another company. Which sucks, because I actually always enjoyed fighting for M-1. Oh well…”

This morning, Evgeni took the time to respond to Vinny Magalhaes and his newly created Twitter campaign to leave M-1.

Now let’s just hope someone out there will take the time actually craft a YouTube video that’s reminiscent of that infamous ‘Leave Britney Alone‘ video. Give me a heads up, we’ll publish it on MiddleEasy.
