Tanner Boser Outlasts Aleksa Camur in Three Round War, Earns Unanimous Decision – UFC Nashville Results (Highlights)

Tanner Boser moved to 5-5 inside the Octagon with an impressive showing against Aleksa Camur at UFC Nashville

On Saturday night, light heavyweight standout Tanner Boser returned to the Octagon determined to get back into the win column after suffering back-to-back losses against Rodrigo Nascimento and Ion Cutelaba. Standing in Boser’s way at UFC Nashville was Aleksa Camur, an American-born fighter who, like his opponent, is also looking to recover from two-straight losses. 

Round 1

Both fighters come out sizing up one another in the opening minute. Tanner Boser gets things started with a calf kick followed by a jab. Camur closes the distance and throws a looping right hand that misses the mark. Camur immediately clinches against the fence before separating and returning to the center of the Octagon. Boser fires off a couple of kicks to keep Camur at bay. Camur again closes the distance as Boser attempts to throw a big right hand. Camur unloads a combination before separating again.

A calf kick from Boser lands. Camur continues to put on the pressure. A jab from Camur lands. Camur again moves in and clinches up with Boser against the cage before pushing him to the canvas and separating. Double jab from Boser lands. The body kick from Boser is blocked and Camur responds with a nice left hook. Boser throws a head kick that is blocked and Camur quickly clinches up as the round comes to an end. 

Round 2

Kamur comes out in round two looking to continue the pressure, but this time it’s Tanner Boser who closes the distance and attempts to wrestle against the cage. They separate and Boser lands a big left hand that wobbles Camur. Boser follows it up with a combination that connects, but Boser continues to take a measured approach as Camur recovers. Boser again moves in and pushes Kamur to the cage wall. Boser briefly goes for a single leg before giving it up and unleashing a flurry of strikes. Boser goes for another single-leg takedown, but Camur is able to separate. 

Boser pursues his opponent, pushing him against the fence and continuing to weigh on him. They split and return to the center of the Octagon where Boser continues to pick apart Kamur with his strikes. Camur is able to respond with strikes, but they aren’t nearly as effective as the shots that Boser is landing. A flurry from Boser moves Camur back to the fence and the two men work in the clinch before separating with only seconds left in the round. The horn sounds with both men standing in the center of the Octagon. 

Round 3

Likely down two rounds, Camur comes out putting on pressure, but Tanner Boser is able to quickly drop down and moves things back into the clinch against the fence, The fighters separate and begin swinging wildly. A combination from Boser briefly turns Camur into a bobblehead, but it’s not enough to put him on the mat. Boser once again shoots for a single leg and clinches against the fence before breaking away.

A calf kick from Camur takes Boser off his feet briefly. Camur lands a big strike in close, but Boser again shoots for a single leg, putting Camur on defense. They return to the center of the cage and Boser throws a body kick followed by a couple of wild hooks that miss the mark. Right hook by Camur lands. This time, Camur closes the distance and clinches up as both men appear exhausted. Camur reverses position and accepts having his back against the fence.

Boser separates and Camur throws a knee that misses the mark. Boser unleashes a flurry of strikes, but Camur eats everything Boser has and keeps moving forward. Boser pushes his opponent to the fence where they remain in the clinch until the round comes to a close. 

Official Result: Tanner Boser def. Aleksa Camur via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
