Sean Strickland Cautions Dricus Du Plessis Ahead Of Press Conference: ‘You Bring That Sh*t Up, It’s On Site’

Strickland says it's 'on site' with DDP if he oversteps with trash talk.

Tensions have seemed to simmer down between Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis for now, but that’s not to say that all hell can’t break loose once again.

Before their fight on Saturday, the UFC 297 headliners actually collided one month prior at UFC 296. Strickland brawled with oncoming challenger Du Plessis in the crowd for what was said at the UFC’s seasonal press conference. The South African fighter shot back at Strickland, saying he’ll bring back memories of his traumatic childhood with a beatdown of his own in Canada.

Strickland Ready For Round 2, If Du Plessis ‘Brings That Sh*t Up’

Du Plessis has no regrets for his trash-talk, but claims he’ll stray away from talking about Strickland’s troubled past again. If ‘Stillknocks’ goes past the line a second time, there’s no telling on what Strickland might do.

“On site, bro,” Strickland said in an interview with Daniel Cormier. “Hey, you want to bring that sh*t up again? Dana White, cancel the f*cking press conference. I already f*cking told you. You bring that sh*t up. It’s on site. It’s on f*cking site, dude.”

More On The Matter

In the UFC Octagon or not, Strickland reckons he’ll fight a mouthy Du Plessis anytime, anywhere. On top of that, the American gives a brief history lesson.

“It doesn’t [matter]. I’ll fight him on Saturday, I won’t fight him… like that’s my line.”

“This is why f*cking men these days [are] just f*cking cowards. This is what society’s done to us I mean, our president [Andrew Jackson] f*cking killed a man ’cause he implied his wife was a f*cking whore. So, what happened? At what point in the course of history did men just become f*cking [p*ssies].”

‘Kick Me Outta The UFC, I Don’t Give A F*ck’

Sean Strickland doesn’t care too much about the potential consequences that could come with another physical altercation with Dricus Du Plessis.

“Bring it up. Say what the f*ck you want. Deport my ass. F*cking kick me outta the UFC, I don’t give a f*ck. I’ll move the f*ck on. I don’t give a fu*k, dude. Bring it up. It’s on site.”

If bad blood doesn’t boil over (like it already has before), the ‘site’ should be at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where the UFC Middleweight title will officially be on the line. UFC 297 takes place this Saturday, live on pay-per-view.
