Strickland had plenty to say during his appearance at Friday's UFC Seasonal Press Conference

It’s safe to say Sean Strickland didn’t make any friends during his appearance at Friday’s UFC press event in Las Vegas.

Three months removed from his shocking unanimous decision win over Israel Adesanya in The Land Down Under, Strickland took the stage to engage in what would eventually become a heated debate with his first UFC title challenger, Dricus Du Plessis.

‘Stillknocks’ was originally expected to be the man to square off with Adesanya at UFC 293 earlier this year, but an ankle injury forced him to bow out of the bout which opened up the opportunity for Strickland to step in and make history.

Things started relatively pleasant between Strickland and Du Plessis with the latter giving ‘Tarzan’ credit for stepping up on short notice and taking out one of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport.

“The guy came out short notice, beat one of the best to ever do it at middleweight,” Du Plessis said. “And he did it in spectacular fashion, deserves all the respect he’s getting, and I think he’s a tremendous fighter and we’re going to have one heck of a fight come 20th January.”

However, things started to turn personal when ‘Stillknocks’ suggested that Strickland merely took advantage of an opportunity rather than working his way through the middleweight top ten.

“It wasn’t like he was taking out number one, three, four, whatever. He got an opportunity,” noted Du Plessis. “But this is a game of opportunities. He took the opportunity, it paid off.”

Strickland took exception to the comment and quickly flipped the script on Du Plessis, admonishing ‘Stillknocks’ for passing up on the opportunity that he ultimately cashed in on.

“He took the b*tch way out, I took the f*cking man way. Off the f*cking couch doing nothing I went and beat the best striker in the f*cking world, one of the f*cking legends in this sport. I f*cking walked through him while your b*tch ass was icing a f*cking ankle. Shut the f*ck up. Go f*ck your coach, you f*ggot.”

Strickland Goes In On Sean O’Malley

Once done slinging slurs at Dricus Du Plessis, Sean Strickland decided to target reigning UFC bantamweight world champion Sean O’Malley who was seated to his right.

“I have a question for your c*nts,” Strickland said. “Why don’t you like ‘Chito?’ He’s a f*cking warrior. He’s a stand-up guy. This motherf*cker over here (gesturing toward O’Malley) with the status, trying to let dudes f*ck his wife. ‘Chito’ is a stand-up motherf*cker. He’s a hard man.

O’Malley wasn’t about to sit back and let Strickland have all the fun.

“At least my dad didn’t f*ck me,” O’Malley said in response.

Before getting clarification on what O’Malley had said, Strickland continued his attack on ‘Sugar’ before asking UFC CEO Dana White what happened to “all the real men.”

“UFC, what happened to you guys? We used to have real men,” Strickland continued. “Now we’ve got this f*cking clown and you over there (pointing toward someone in the crowd) rooting for this f*cking guy. Dude is a f*cking clown. He ain’t a f*cking man. Go and let dude’s f*ck your wife. This is f*cking crazy. Dana, what happened? What f*cking happened, Dana?”

Sean Strickland Targets F*cking B*tch Colby Covington

If you thought Sean Strickland was done, you were dead wrong. The middleweight champ decided to target another fighter which drew the ire of fans and fighters alike on Thursday.

Stepping into the Octagon this Saturday (December 16), Colby Covington took the stage for a press event 48 hours ahead of fight night and quickly made things awkward when he delivered an especially vile comment about Leon Edwards’ deceased father. The remark sparked an understandably emotional response from Edwards who had to be restrained by security.

Fortunately, things did not escalate beyond that, but multiple fighters were quick to condemn Covingtong’s verbal low blow, including Strickland.

“Colby is an utter piece of sh*t,” Strickland said. “If you know Colby on a personal level, he f*cked over everybody he f*cking knows and I take Colby as a personal insult to me because Trumpsters, the republican, you guys are my f*cking people,” Strickland said. “The blue-collar workers. You guys are my f*cking people and you have a c*nt like Colby taking up the banner and he don’t give a f*ck about you and him making fun of Leon’s dad, that is the biggest f*cking c*nt move you can do.

“Bad guy, good guy, doesn’t f*cking matter. He raised a boy to be a f*cking man. To win a title. To be a good man and a real f*cking American would applaud him for that. They wouldn’t tear him down for that. So just so you know, Colby is a fake f*cking p*ssy and if he was standing here right next to me, the only f*cking thing he would do is call 911 because he is the definition of a f*cking b*tch.”
