  • Sean Strickland has hit out at Paulo Costa once again
  • “Tarzan” revealed his thoughts on his upcoming fight against Alex Pereira

Sean Strickland has been busy training as he looks to extend his unbeaten run with another win against Alex Pereira. However, he still finds time to talk about a few other things in the division such as his ongoing feud with Paulo Costa.

Strickland Calls Costa A Homophobe

Strickland and Costa have been having some back and forth for quite some time now. In a recent interview with The Schmo, “Tarzan” commented on the issue once again and as expected, Strickland let “Borrachinha” have it.

“F*cking Costa, what is it with that guy?,” Strickland pointed out. “He’s calling me a f*cking fag. Costa, there’s only one man who has been dry humping the UFC bro and that has been f*cking you calling me a fag.”

“I’m not going around calling people fags. I love the gays. Paul Costa, this fucking guy he’s over here being a f*cking homophobe just cuz he got molested once by fucking Izzy? That’s not f*cking cool bro.

Why Strickland didn’t want to fight Costa

While the two have been interested in fighting each other at times, the ship would sail as Strickland accepted a fight with Alex Pereira instead. Strickland would explain why he didn’t want to fight Costa.

“Costa, just so you f*cking know, just because you could stop running your fucking mouth. I watched you fight f*cking Marvin. I will walk through you. I called you out multiple times before you, before anything. The UFC said ‘f*ck no’ meaning, I’m gonna beat the sh*t outta you. They don’t want me to fight you. That’s what happened.”

“I will show you the messages of them saying no, I can’t fight you. So Costa, go f*ck yourself,” Strickland continued. “If I see you in Vegas and you wanna run this sh*t back anytime you f*cking want it, dude. Let’s f*cking go, man. You don’t even need to make f*cking weight. A little p*ssy.”

Hoping a crack at UFC gold is next

The only fight slated for UFC 277 at the moment is Strickland vs. Alex Pereira. However, it is expected that the event will be headlined by a middleweight championship bout between Israel Adesanya and Jared Cannonier.

With that in mind, Strickland speculates that whoever wins between him and Pereira will be the next title contender.

“We’re fighting on the same card as Izzy [Adesanya] and Cannonier, so I’m hoping it’s like the winner gets the next title shot,” he added.

‘Plan B’

Pereira and Strickland are both known for their striking, but obviously Pereira has the bigger resume when it comes to kickboxing. While Strickland is known to ‘stand and bang’, he might have to change the gameplan should things go south. Let’s just say he’ll have his grappling up his sleeve.

“Listen guys, jiu-jitsu… I do the f*cking man game,” Strickland said. “The f*cking man dance. I’m not trying to f*cking take you down and put my c*ck in your face or give you an aggressive hug. I’m trying to do the f*cking man dance. Now that being said, if he hits me, I’m gonna take him down and f*cking dry hump him for f*cking 15 minutes.”
