Things are heating up between two very controversial UFC middleweights.
We’re talking about no other than Sean Strickland and Paulo Costa. The two fighters have finally locked horns, not inside the cage, but on social media. It took Costa a while, but the Brazilian has finally responded to Strickland’s interest in fighting him last November.
‘Let’s Do It Rat’
Consider Costa in for a fight with Strickland.
“Let’s do it rat.” Costa posted across his social media, along with screenshots showing Sean’s past interest in fighting him. “No sportsmanship for this rat.”
Strickland Responds
Unlike Costa, it would not take Strickland months for him to respond to the call-out. ‘Tarzan’ originally asked for Costa but he cited that the UFC wouldn’t allow him the opportunity to fight the former title challenger.
“I asked for Costa and the UFC didn’t seem so confident in his future,” Strickland replied. “Also i dont think they liked me punching down to get a title shot lol.. but worst case for you Costa there is always bellator.. Maybe 205? Idk…”
Costa Calls Strickland A ‘Fake Macho’
Costa would call ‘cap’ on this. ‘The Eraser’ didn’t believe a single word from Strickland’s text.
