When our interviewer met Roxanne Modaferri for the first time, he completely geeked out. The type of geeking out that would get your head dunked in a toilet and thrown in a locker back in high-school. Luckily, things are a little different now. He doesn’t have to rely on a bus to take him home anymore (2001 Nissan Sentra ftw) nor does he have to turn in Algebra homework he copied off the dude in front of him. D**k Grayson is all grown up…that’s why he asked Roxanne Modaferri videogame questions. Just hours before Roxanne Modaferri was going to fight on the biggest card of her career, she was cornered in the Sears Centre and asked Super Mario questions. Only on MiddleEasy.
If in the next EA game they included women and they asked you to be in it, what would you’re reaction be?
Roxy: That kinda offer would be really cool and i would be really excited. That kind of opportunity would be really cool, Gina has her own action figure, so that could uh…I’d just ask them to make my biceps a little bigger.If you can take your EA video game character and fight another video game character (e.g. Link from Zelda, Metroid, those cats from Altered Beast etc.) who would you wanna fight?
Roxy: Oh man, I would wanna fight, that’s a really good, I don’t know–Goku. Or um, let me think…haha, Mario, “It’s a me, Mario!”…pie in the face.You’re going after peoples’ souls & hearts with that Mario pick.
Roxy: When you fight someone, you have this connection forever more afterward so…Not a bad person to forever be connected to, he’s an icon.
Roxy: I’m a friendly kind of fighter, you know, “Hey, how’s it goin’? Let’s fight”, and after we’re done punching our faces in, we’re good.
