Sean Strickland wants Alex Pereira to enjoy his money and fame by dating beautiful women and is asking the reigning light heavyweight champion to let him fight Dricus Du Plessis first.
Sean’s unsolicited advice to Alex
Strickland was brought in to Pereira’s training camp as sparring partner ahead of UFC 307. As expected, “Tarzan” talked about some outrageous stuff while in the gym. After a training session, Strickland spent some time chatting with “Poatan” and urged the Brazilian to make the most of his success by dating “supermodels.”
“You’re rich. You should be with like f**king models bro. I know you grew up in the f**king jungles and you hunted some deer. But that’s not you anymore, Alex. That’s not you anymore. You don’t work in a tire shop. It’s better now! Life is good now bro, let’s get some supermodels!,” Strickland told Pereira through a translator.

Sean’s request to Alex
In an interview with The Schmo, “Tarzan” was asked about his thoughts on Pereira’s plan to return to 185 and dethrone Du Plessis. As per Strickland, Pereira should just once again enjoy his riches and just let him take on “Stillknocks.”
“Alex, I know you worked at a tire shop. But listen, you’re not a poor Brazilian anymore. You got more money than all of us. Then shut the f**k down. Let me fight the Dutchman. Then we can send him your way. Thank you, Alex. With all due respect, you giant f**king Brazilian,” Strickland said.

UFC president Dana White has already confirmed that Strickland would be Du Plessis’ next challenger. However, Pereira insisted that he would come for DDP after defending his light heavyweight title against Khalil Rountree at UFC 307.
