- Sean Strickland casually put duct tape on his broken UFC championship belt
- The new middleweight champ has yet to pick his next opponent and first title challenger
Just days after becoming the new UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland is being talked about on the internet once again. This time, not because of fighting but because of his epic way of fixing his broken UFC championship belt.
Handy Sean
In a recent post on social media, “Tarzan” revealed that a part of his UFC belt got a little detached. Instead of worrying about it, Strickland showed everybody how easy it is for him to solve the problem.
Strickland then grabbed duct tape and proceeded to fix his belt before declaring it’s “good as new!”
“Is it just me or did this belt just become way better?,” Strickland wrote as caption.

What’s next for Sean
It should be no surprise that Strickland would be a hot subject of discussions across the sport in the next few days or weeks. Apart from his upset win over Israel Adesanya at UFC 293, “Tarzan” also got fans and experts already buzzing about what lies ahead of him.
UFC president Dana White calls for an instant rematch with Izzy, while No. 5 middleweight contender Marvin Vettori suggests that Strickland pick from other Top-5 185-pounders available.
Strickland has yet to name his opponent of choice but already hinted that his next fight would all depend on how the UFC wanted it to be.
