Sean Strickland is offering a social media star $200K to fight him in the desert.

UFC fighter Sean Strickland is no stranger to the limelight. When he is not fighting inside the UFC Octagon, he is usually making headlines by saying unconventional things or getting into feuds with people online or in person. Now he seems to have made a new enemy with a social media self-defense instructor called Commander Dale Brown.

Brown has made a name for himself on Tik Tok by posting clips of himself using his strange and often bizarre self-defense techniques to teach people how to defend themselves from danger. He can be seen teaching how to defend oneself from chokes, attacks, guns, knives, and more. Many in the MMA world find Brown’s techniques to be unrealistic and now Strickland has called him out on it.

Sean Strickland wants to prove that Commander Dale Brown’s tips and tricks are all fiction

Strickland recently had a run-in with Brown in which he became a part of the tutorial. The two met up in Las Vegas at an event held in a gun store. They began a little fight role-playing and it got out of hand. Strickland knocked Brown into a glass case of weapons, knocking it over and shattering it on the ground. Now Brown is calling for a romp with Strickland in more open territory. He spoke on a podcast about wanting to face Strickland in the desert, an offer that has been accepted.

“You said you would meet me in the desert, I will make you a deal,” he said. “Next week, the following week whenever you’re free I will buy your plane ticket, I will put you in whatever hotel you want. I will go take $200,000 in cash and I will put it in the sand and you can have that money and all you got to do is beat me. Just say when man I promise you we will do this whatever you want. The thing is dude, you’re a fraud. You’re a phony, you’re a con artist. You know you are, I know you are, and if you want to man up and show the world that maybe you’re legitimate. Next week, the following week, plane ticket, hotel, transportation, $200,000 on the ground. That’s the easiest money you’ll ever f–king make.”

Strickland seems serious about his offer and wants to prove that Brown’s talk and technique will not be successful in a real fight. Strickland is fresh off his UFC win over Nassourdine Imavov in which he stepped in on short notice. It was his first win in three fights.
