Sean Strickland and his special brand of crazy has struck once again, this time taking aim at Jon Jones just weeks ahead of his highly anticipated heavyweight debut.
On March 4, Jones will return to the Octagon after more than three years away. Meeting him in the UFC 285 main event will be No. 1 ranked contender Ciryl Gane as they battle it out for the now-vacant UFC heavyweight championship.
Taking to Twitter earlier today, Jones shared a rather intense incident where his nine-year-old daughter Olivia stumbled upon a bobcat that had wandered into their guesthouse overnight.
“We had a crazy snowstorm in Albuquerque last night, I guess one of us forgot to close our guest house door all the way,” Jones tweeted. “This morning my little nine-year-old Olivia walked out there alone to grab a pair of sneakers she had left,” Jones added. “After completely walking into the room she was met with an aggressive hissing sound, she jumped on a countertop and a bobcat sprung out from underneath the bed, it stared at her, pounds in her direction and then decided to run the opposite way.
“I’m so incredibly grateful this morning, that could’ve turned out so many different ways. Been thanking God all morning.”

While most of the comments were from fans joining in Jones’ relief that his daughter was unharmed, UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland took a decidedly different approach. In responding to Jones’ tweets, Strickland went off on an explicit and frankly inappropriate tangent.
“This is what Jon Jones says when he wakes up in the morning after smacking his wife doing lines off hookers while being balls deep and his cock doesn’t burn the next day,” Strickland tweeted.
“Bro come on man God don’t like you. You’re going hell bro read the Bible lmao!!! Maybe Satan is for you lol!”

Sean Strickland Doesn’t Know When to Stop
One fan attempted to stick up for Jones, encouraging Strickland to let him slide after hearing of his daughter’s frightening incident. That only encouraged Strickland to respond with more of the same insanity that he has become both famous and infamous for.
“What’s more dangerous… a bob cat or Jon Jones after some coke…We should ask his wife lmao!!” Strickland replied.

Strickland’s comments are largely based on a September 2021 incident where Jones was arrested in Las Vegas following a domestic dispute between himself and then-fiancée Jessie Moses. The charges were ultimately dropped, but Jones was ordered to undergo anger management counseling as it was far from the first time Jones had been in trouble with the law.
