UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland is one of the most outspoken personalities in all of combat sports, often delivering his controversial take on anything and everything to anyone willing to listen.
This time, Strickland is taking aim at his fellow Americans during a recent appearance on ‘Food Truck Diaries‘ with Brendan Schaub. The No. 7 ranked contender believes that Americans are soft, especially when compared to their international counterparts in the world of mixed martial arts.

Sean Strickland Takes Another Dig at Ronda Rousey
Recently, Sean Strickland came under for proclaiming his hatred for the UFC’s first women’s world champion, ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey. Strickland responded to an interview clip of Rousey on ‘The Ellen Show’ from six years ago. At the time, Rousey was one year removed from her upset loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Rousey told Ellen DeGeneres during the interview that the loss gave her thoughts of suicide.
Sean Strickland accused Rousey of glorifying suicide. During his conversation with Brendan Schaub on his Thicc Boy YouTube channel, Strickland once again reiterated his dislike for Rousey but was a little more willing to give credit where credit is due.
“I get along a lot with like, Russians and like, a lot of these harder people because I talk to these f*cking people. They’re not clowns. They’re just solid f*cking guys and then you come to America and you’ve got the Ronda f*cking Rousey’s. No offense, I know you like the girl, but you’ve got these f*cking just soft… Let me tell you, Ronda Rousey’s a hard b*tch. She’s f*cking strong. I’ll tell you, Ronda Rousey, I mean she f*cking went in there and f*cked people up. As a fighter, Ronda Rousey deserves all the credit she gets. All the credit she gets, but when I say soft, that’s not what I mean soft.
“You think you take Alex Pereira, any of these f*cking Brazilians, and you give them all this f*cking money and they go get knocked out, they’re gonna go on the Ellen [Show] and be like, ‘Well, I went back to my country. No running water, no food, no electricity and I looked in the mirror with all my millions and I thought about killing myself.’ F*ck no. They’re gonna be like, ‘I came from nothing f*cking nothing.
