Prodigy was the first internet service that I ever owned and it featured a primitive chat feature called ‘Yak.’ It was the first time I ever witnessed a nude picture of a woman being transmitted through the web via some creepy individual in the chat room. It was a picture of Stephanie Seymour who, at the age of 44, still looks magnificent. In order for my parents not to hear the screeching of my 14.4 modem late at night, I would shove a pillow on the back of my computer. It was pretty damn effective sound dampener that enabled my parents not to see their son looking at pictures of naked women. That’s my entire story with Prodigy.
