- Mateusz Makarowski and Krystian Blezien were unrecognizable after suffering severe damage in the face following a three-round war
- Makarowski was declared winner via decision
Polish MMA fighters Mateusz Makarowski and Krystian Blezien generated buzz online this past weekend as graphic photos of their faces after enduring a three-round war were posted on social media. Both fighters were unrecognizable in the said photos, having incurred severe damages from their all-out striking battle at MMA Attack 4 held in Będzin, Poland.
In terms of extreme sports, mixed martial arts (MMA) is certainly not a sport appropriate for everyone, that is something Mateusz Makarowski and Krystian Blezien, two Polish MMA fighters, had to learn after a bitter experience at MMA Attack 4.
Badly beaten
Below are the photos of Makarowski and Blezien after the fight. From the looks of it, it’s hard to tell who the winner is between the two.

A dog fight
Makarowski and Blezien arrived at the Będzin Arena expecting a tough match but neither the fighters nor the fans thought that it would be a gruesome fight from the opening round to the final bell.
The pair already had a competitive first round but as the fight went on, things got more and more bloody. Makarowski and Blezien began landing power shots in the second round and the amount of damage they inflicted was already noticeable.
Both fighters were checked by a physician heading into round 3 as they were already badly beaten after 10 minutes of combat. The fight went on to the final round where Makarowski and Blezien engaged in another bloody exchange. At this point, fans in attendance were already on their feet. They traded shots until the end of the round but it was Makarowski who was declared winner via unanimous decision.
Check out the fight below:
The victory saw Makarowski improving his record to 8-5-1, while Blezien ended his two-fight winning streak.
