The petition will seek UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan to moderate political debates.

The request started on the popular website Change dot org. “Get Joe Rogan to Moderate the 2020 Presidential Debate” is the title of the document. The petition lists several reasons why the popular podcast host would make the perfect moderator.

Reasons include the following:

“1. Joe Rogan is a widely respected host who has hosted interviews with politicians, economists, scientists, and other popular figures, who come from various walks of life.

2. Joe Rogan has experience with interviewing both progressive and conservative thinkers. Figures such as Andrew Yang (D), Tulsi Gabbard (D), Kyle Kulinski (D), Gary Johnson (L), Benjamin Shapiro (R), and Candace Owens (R), have all appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience” program.

3. Joe Rogan has an audience containing viewers from all areas of the political spectrum. Joe Rogan is not registered under any political party and is well-known for having civil, productive, and interesting, conversations about political issues without partisan bias.”

On Rogan’s show, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Joe has interviewed governmental figures on every part of the political spectrum. Names such as Ben Shapiro, Candance Owens, Bernie Sanders, Andrew Yang and more have all made appearances on the show.

While Rogan has interview experience with political figures, fans who signed the petition also had other reasons why Joe is the man for the job. Many think is just an all-around good guy.

One fan stated that Rogan is “the best free press journalist we have.

Another stated that Joe would, “offer a no BS, unscripted approach to the debate. We would get to see how the candidates would respond when they weren’t hand-fed the questions beforehand.”

Would you want Joe Rogan to moderate political debates in the future? If so, let your voice be heard and sign the petition here.
