- Joe Rogan commented on Dana White’s funny viral podcast incident
- The UFC commentator thinks Jamahal Hill is being overlooked
Joe Rogan unsurprisingly found it funny how Dana White was mistaken for him during a podcast interview and is wondering why fans don’t recognize Jamahal Hill’s skills.
The feeling is mutual
During a recent podcast interview, White was called “Joe Rogan” by the host and the clip expectedly went viral. The UFC boss was evidently not offended by it and in fact, White even revealed that it wasn’t the first time he was mistaken for the famous podcaster and UFC color commentator.
Speaking to his JRE podcast, Rogan just laughed off the incident and revealed that he used to be called “Dana” by random people as well.
“People call me Dana. I’ve been called Dana before,” Rogan said. “People go, ‘Oh, it’s Dana!’ I go, ‘No, I’m the other dude.’ It happens all the time. I think she just made a mental flub. When you’re doing a podcast and you’re interviewing someone, especially if you haven’t done a lot of them and it’s a high-profile thing and you’re doing Dana White, you’re always thinking of what to say.”
“Even the question is like, ‘What’s your dream?’ It’s not a crazy question. It’s like, I don’t know what to ask you so I’m like, ‘What’s your dream?’ So she’s probably floundering there a little and doesn’t know what to say. It’s f—king weird having a conversation live with someone in real time.”
Last question, what's Joe Rogan's dream?

Joe says Jamahal is dangerous
In the same podcast episode, Rogan also said he is baffled by how people think Jamahal Hill is the flat-out underdog against Alex Pereira at UFC 300. For Joe, many don’t realize how “dangerous” Hill is as a fighter which makes the UFC 300 headliner interesting.
“Jamahal Hill is f**king dangerous. Watch the fight with Glover [Teixeira]. He pieced Glover up and Glover is f**king good. To piece him up like that on the feet. People underestimate him for some strange reason. I don’t understand it. I’ve heard people talk about his power. Watch that Johnny Walker fight. He hit him in the forehead like he got hit by a sniper,” Rogan raved.
“Jamahal’s a one-punch knockout striker at light heavyweight for sure. He’s a big tall dude and he knows movement. He’s f**king dangerous man… A lot of people are picking Pereira to run him over which I think is interesting. [But] I’m not sure about that,” he continued.
Hill will try and reclaim his light heavyweight title against Pereira at UFC 300. The light heavyweight showdown will take place on April 13.
