Inivcta FC 31 goes down this Saturday on UFC Fight Pass from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri. Today (Aug 31) were the weigh-ins for IFC 31 and you knew somebody was going to steal the show.
That somebody was Pearl Gonzalez and her weigh-in outfit. You may remember Gonzalez as the UFC fighter the New York State Athletic Commission tried to boot from an event 24 hours prior due to discovering she had breast implants. Um yeah, the New York State Athletic Commission remains one of the dumbest and worst things in all of MMA.

Gonzalez did that today, thanks to winning the IFC 31 costume contest. The 32-year-old former UFC fighter takes on Daiane Firmino in the co-main event of the card. Since leaving the UFC, Gonzalez has gone 2-0 in Invicta and is proving herself to be a flyweight force.
Let’s watch Gonzalez win the IFC weigh-ins and it looks like her coach is rocking a boat captain’s hat, which we also 100% approve of. It’s a team effort in these busy MMA streets and Gonzalez now has the backing of the MiddleEasy multi-universe.
