Paul Daley vs Cyborg Santos has been added to the increasingly awesome Fedor/Hendo card

It’s starting to look more and more likely that some sort of MiddleEasy fan meetup/fair thing is going to happen around the July 30th Strikeforce Fedor vs Henderson card. There is a solid MiddleEasy fan base (that will destroy you) in Chicago and the surrounding areas that have been vocal on Twitter about a meetup, so why not?

My vote: we all convene at a neutral Portillos, buy some Italian beefs with extra giardiniera, then go watch what looks to be yet another completely stacked Strikeforce card outside of the windy city. Now with a fresh Paul Daley and Cyborg Santos matchup.

The spirit of Rich Chou’s matchmaking still resides within Strikeforce it seems. MMAWeekly broke the news of this potential slobberknocker to the world via Paul and his management:

“I’m happy to be fighting again. It’s a big fight. For those who haven’t seen the Melvin Manhoef vs. Cyborg fight, watch it and expect the same outcome for Cyborg … He’ll be knocked out,”

“Just like me, Cyborg’s been around since the Cage Rage days. He brings experience and power to the cage, like me. He’s an aggressive guy, like me. And it will be an entertaining fight, like mine always are.”

Props to Paul for referencing a fight that is in constant rotation on MiddleEasyTV. I look forward to this card.
