After running out of the cage and into our hearts, Patrick “Paddy” Pimblett is just a couple of hours away from defending his Cage Warriors featherweight title against former UFC fighter Julian Erosa before UFC 205.
Scousers don’t get knocked out, and it looks like they don’t care too much about Conor McGregor either. Then again, if he keeps up his wild streak he could eventually be Paddy Pimblett’s future opponent. No need to start catchin’ feelings for the lad now.
"I'm not too fond of him, he's forgot where he came from!" @PatrickPimblett isn't a fan of @TheNotoriousMMA! #UFC205 https://t.co/Lp4dk4vnpI

While McGregor surely is the star of tonight, Pimblett should not be overlooked and is gunning out for bigger things on bigger stages. A convincing win over a fighter who was good enough to make it into the UFC may be one of the final nails in the coffin to get the Owen Hart lookalike Pimblett to finally burst into the UFC.
Cage Warriors comes on at 4pm ET and will lead right into the UFC 205 Fight Pass prelims. You should watch. I know we will.
