Now that Hioki is in the UFC, his Frate Traneage continues

Keep in mind, we placed Hatsu Hioki on the official MiddleEasy Frate Trane list before he signed to UFC. After he pulled off that slick triangle on Jeff Lawson at Sengoku 14, we knew he was something special. The type of special your mom calls you after she bakes you a fresh tray of oatmeal-raisin cookies. Yes, that special.

Before the fight, Hatsu stated his entire purpose was to come to the UFC and show he’s the best fighter in the world. Hioki guaranteed he would defeat George Roop prior to the fight and tonight, he delivered on one of his promises. Now let’s hope we get to see him prove that he truly is the greatest featherweight on the planet.

Coming out to some Japanese pop tune, Hioki fought a rather cautious fight, but managed to squeeze the split decision out of George Roop. Some of you will disagree, but it doesn’t matter. Hioki stays on the official MiddleEasy Frate Trane and he’s now undefeated in the UFC.
