I’ve personally witnessed my old roommate defeat Mike Tyson’s Punchout on Nintendo in the duration of 18 minutes with his shirt off — all of which under the influence of two Mickey’s 40oz. It was the greatest videogame accomplishment that I’ve ever seen. The moon landing was cool, but I didn’t see it. That Friday night, I was in the presence of awesomeness and it was — awesome. Unfortunately there was no method of filming this event, we simply were not that responsible. If archaeologists relied on us for an accurate portrayal of history, we would fail horribly. Just take my word, it happened. Seriously, it did.
