Muhammad Mokaev is looking to take on Alex Perez at UFC 284 and is willing to pay him for the fight.

A rising star in the UFC flyweight division is Muhammad Mokaev. He is currently ranked 14th and is looking for an opportunity to move up. He currently has his eyes set on Alex Perez, the number six ranked flyweight. The reason Perez is such a promising target is due to the fact that he has found himself without an opponent for his scheduled UFC 284 bout.

Perez was supposed to meet Kai Kara-France on the UFC 284 card being held in Perth Australia in February. Unfortunately, Kara-France suffered an injury and had to pull out of the fight. This seemed like the perfect opportunity for Mokaev to fill in and he has been asking on Twitter for the chance.

Muhammad Mokaev wants to face Alex Perez in Perth at UFC 284 and is offering up some big money

Mokaev came into the UFC at the beginning of 2022 and immediately showcased his skills. He racked up three wins during the 2022 calendar year, including two submission wins. He is looking to make the most of next year and is willing to do whatever it takes to book a fight with Perez. He has been making calls on social media and has even offered to sweeten the deal.

Mokaev has offered up $10,000 of his $16,000 purse to Perez if he accepts. Perez is a big name in the division but is coming off back-to-back losses. He has yet to accept the fight and it is unclear if the UFC will even want to keep him on this fight card. Kara-France was the big draw since he is from New Zealand and this was the first UFC event in Australia since before the pandemic. The card recently lost another Oceania fighter as Robert Whittaker lost out on his fight with Paulo Costa due to negotiation problems with the UFC
