Mike Perry is waiting for BKFC to officially reveal his next bare-knuckle opponent.

Over the past two years, Perry has found tremendous success outside of the UFC. ‘Platinum’ started with a custom-rules boxing win against Michael Seals before solidifying himself as a bare-knuckle superstar by taking out Julian Lane, Michael ‘Venum’ Page, and Luke Rockhold.

In April of this year, the 32-year-old savage made a statement by securing a second-round TKO win against Rockhold. Since then, bare-knuckle fans have wondered when he will fight again.

During an exclusive interview with MiddleEasy, Perry had this to say about what’s next:

“I’m not really sure what the BKFC is planning, really. They gave me some idea of who. They told me December, Dallas. I don’t remember if they told me an actual date. I don’t think there was an actual date, actual weekend.”

‘Platinum’ continued by revealing there is slight confusion between him and BKFC:

“They did tell me who [I would be fighting next] but then they said when we announced my contract, or I did an interview somewhere, they were like we’re going to announce the fight in like a week. That was a few weeks ago, so they didn’t announce anything.”

Mike Perry doesn’t expect next BKFC opponent to be Darren Till

Mike Perry has always been interested in fighting whoever the fans want. Well, the MMA community has shown plenty of interest in Perry taking on Darren Till after a hilarious video of them together in 2018 went viral.

During the same exclusive interview with MiddleEasy, ‘Platinum’ had this to say about potentially fighting Till in a bare-knuckle boxing match:

“Darren Till said he doesn’t wanna fight me bare-knuckle, that’s what he said. So, we will see, but money talks. I know BKFC can definitely get someone in the ring with me. The last two fights they announced for me were huge, and they came out of nowhere…So, the next one is the best one.”

Mike Perry signed a new multi-fight deal with BKFC last month. When asked about rejoining the UFC, Perry claimed the pay cut from the bare-knuckle promotion would be too massive. With that said, ‘Platinum’ still seems interested in pursuing other combat sports opportunities if the money is right.
