We just might see Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor again.
Rumors have been swirling around of late that the pair could have a rematch of their lucrative 2017 boxing contest that saw Mayweather come out on top with a 10th-round TKO win.
Despite the loss, McGregor was said to have banked $100 million and unsurprisingly, has called to run it back over the years.
With all these recent rumors, McGregor added fuel to the fire with a social media post on Thursday accepting a rematch with Mayweather.
“I accept”

There seems to be legs to this as well.
Fight Hype — said to be close with Mayweather — reported that the pair were indeed in talks over a boxing rematch.
“Sources close to the information have informed us that Hall of Fame legend Floyd Mayweather and UFC star Conor McGregor are currently in talks for a potential rematch. McGregor himself recently took to social media to post a picture from their epic first bout with the caption “I accept”.“According to our sources, Mayweather would pocket another 9-figure payday if the two sides can come to terms. Be sure to check back soon for more information as this story continues to develop.”
Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor II?
While a rematch probably seemed unlikely to most, these recent reports certainly make things interesting.
Of course, a second fight won’t generate nearly as much interest as the first. Even if Mayweather is older and only competing in exhibitions, McGregor has also become older and only holds one win since the end of 2016.
With all that said, a sequel would still draw quite a bit given the name values of Mayweather and McGregor.
Do you think we’ll see the rematch?
