Max Holloway Mocks Conor McGregor, Says Irishman Has Never Defended His UFC Titles

Max Holloway’s bottle cap challenge became very popular in the world of mixed martial arts in a short time.

Many successful MMA fighters completed the new challenge, including the former UFC two-division king, cash cow, and legendary trash-talker Conor McGregor.

Max Holloway took part in a media scrum recently, where he promoted his UFC 240 title defense bout against the dangerous contender Frankie Edgar.

Max Holloway was asked about Conor McGregor’s bottle cap challenge, but Max took the opportunity to troll the Irishman. The Hawaiian fighter says “The Notorious” has never defended his title.

“McGregor’s? If you talk about it, Conor when he kicked it, his bottle cap when straight off. Mine kept on spinning and spinning and stayed on. Some people win championship belts, some people defend them, whatever preference do you want.”

Conor McGregor shocked the world in the main event of UFC 194 when he turned the lights out on Jose Aldo via brutal left cross counter after less than 15 seconds to win UFC Featherweight title. Then he went one division up and won Eddie Alvarez in a 155-pound title bout.
