Matt Horwich talks about grooming his war-stallion mane for his Shark Fights bout tomorrow

The world’s first ‘quantum mechanical warrior’ will be competing in Shark Fights tomorrow in a rematch against Jake Rosholt, a guy that not only defeated Chris Leben but slapped on a triangle that forced him to collapse on the mat like my morals on a Saturday night. Back in November 12th 2010, Horwich managed to TKO Roshholt in the final round at Xtreme Fight Night in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Now the mulit-verse walking, cyber saber-tooth being will attempt to replicate his previous feat tomorrow at Shark Fights 17 in Odessa, TX.

MMADiehards caught up with Matt Horwich to ensure that his preparation was going as planned, and judging by his response, Horwich is 100% on track.

“Well the war-stallion mane is coming along nicely. Its getting really long, so I think I’m going to braid it for the fight so that it doesn’t get into my eyes or anything. So it should be a beautiful night surfing the multiverse with the wind in my mane.

“I don’t know if Shark Fights allows us to pick our own walkout music because of copyrights, what with it being broadcast nationally on HDNet. Last time I think we had to pick off of a list. Maybe I’ll be able to come out to something by favorite metal vocalist of all time, Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to pick my own song.

“I also love Dio’s music, I listen to it a lot in training, but then again I also like to come out to something a lot more spiritual when its time to fight. Dragonforce are phenomenal musicians and great poets as well. Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, The Doors, Pink Floyd are some others. Good flowing music, great for shadow boxing.”

Since Matt Horwich is a fellow Hollywooder, you know that MiddleEasy had to slap the Monster on his shorts. Look out for the MiddleEasy logo tomorrow at Shark Fights 17 which will be broadcast live on HDNet. [Source]
