Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg has revealed when he’d prefer to take on Tesla’s Elon Musk and he’s gotten a response.
Zuckerberg and Musk have been teasing having a matchup of some sort for the past few months. It began when Musk said he’d be willing to challenge Zuckerberg to a “cage fight.” Mark Zuckerberg responded by posting a screen cap of the challenge from Elon Musk with his own caption, “Send me location.” Of course, this is a famous quote UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov used to say.
Mark Zuckerberg Wants To Fight Before Summer Is Out

“I’m ready today,” Zuckerberg wrote. “I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn’t confirmed. Not holding my breath. I love this sport and will continue competing with people who train no matter what happens here.”
In response, Elon Musk shut down the idea of fighting that soon. In fact, Musk may need to go under the knife if he expects to get physical.
“Exact date is still in flux,” Musk said. “I’m getting an MRI of my neck & upper back tomorrow. May require surgery before the fight can happen. Will know this week.”

It has not been announced whether Zuckerberg intends to provide a stream for his Twitter rival, Threads.
Many promotions have been pounding on the table for a chance to speak to Zuckerberg and Musk about possibly fighting. Among those organizations has been the UFC. The promotion’s President, Dana White has publicly expressed that he feels this would be the biggest fight in any combat sport.
At one point, White even wore a Zuckerberg vs. Musk T-shirt with UFC branding on it. He has also dismissed critics who say he is being hypocritical for preferring this gimmick fight, yet slamming other promotions for the Francis Ngannou vs. Tyson Fury buzz.
