Mark Zuckerberg’s fondness for the iconic golden arches is no secret.

In a recent post on Threads, his innovative platform competing with X (formerly known as Twitter), the co-founder of Meta revealed an extensive lineup of his preferred selections from the McDonald’s menu.

The conversation sparked off with a simple question from McDonald’s: “y’all want anything from mconald’s?”

In response, the 39-year-old Zuckerberg, a practitioner of jiu-jitsu, penned:

“20 nuggets, a quarter pounder, large fries, Oreo McFlurry, apple pie, and maybe some side cheeseburgers for later?”

UFC fighter Mike Davis swiftly responded to the Threads post, taking the opportunity to call out his training regimen.

“You’re in camp! No Mcdonalds 😂,” Davis wrote

In his reply to Davis, the tech mogul expressed:

“Not cutting weight so I need ~4000 calories a day to offset all the activity. And it’s so delicious…”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Zuckerberg picked up martial arts and frequently shares his workout experiences on Instagram.

In June, he made waves by apparently agreeing to a “cage match” with Elon Musk.

UFC President Dana White revealed that both Zuckerberg and Musk are genuinely considering the fight, and he personally spoke to them about it. “I was talking to Elon and Mark last night, both guys are absolutely dead serious about this,” White, 53, disclosed in an interview with TMZ.

As of now, there have been no updates on the potential fight between Musk and Zuckerberg. However, it seems like Zuckerberg is taking his training seriously, as he recently constructed his own Octagon in his backyard, though it reportedly didn’t sit well with his wife. Whether this means the fight is still on the horizon or simply a passion project for Zuckerberg remains to be seen.

Mark Zuckerberg doesn’t need to shed pounds for the potential showdown. In a twist, the advantage might come from packing on some weight. Musk, on the other hand, boasts around 230 lbs on the scale. If these two were to square off in the Octagon right now, Zuckerberg would find himself at a substantial ~85 lb. disadvantage.

Zuckerberg’s substantial calorie intake is a testament to his rigorous training regime. Just in the past month, he was sweating it out with UFC champions like Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski. Notably, a slew of other fighters have also extended their assistance.
