Lyoto Machida emerged victorious in his hometown of Belem, Brazil tonight at UFC Fight Night 125 in the main event via split decision against Eryk Anders.
There wasn’t a whole lot of action over the course of five rounds here, so it’s interesting to see how the judges score it, and in the end, they have given a split decision verdict that sees Lyoto Machida a winner (48-47, 47-48, 49-46). This win snaps a three-fight losing streak for Lyoto Machida.
In his post-fight interview with Paul Felder, Lyoto Machida called out the former middleweight champ Michael Bisping.

Post-fight pros react to Lyoto Machida’s win:
That’s one of the worst decisions in @UFC history. Who would have ever thought a robbery would happen in that #dump they call Brazil?! Go figure. #UFCBelem

Had it Machida 3-2 maybe 4-1 due to the striking totals & no passes or punching with the couple of takedowns, but wow what patience and calmness by Anders only Alabama football would prepare you for that type of moment. Bright future! #UFCBelem

I feel like Anders won the fight.
I also know where this fight happened and fully expect Machida to win a decision here.
Would watch again. #UFCBelem
