Lyle Beerbohm is not afraid of Shinya Aoki’s ground game

It’s always difficult trying to decide what picture of Shinya Aoki to use for a banner. You can use the tried but true post Hirota, middle finger waving Aoki, or one of his many crotch grabs or gestures to his nether region. Perhaps this picture of Shinya Aoki sitting on a ball? After much deliberation I always decide that the best banner involves the Tobikan Judan and Masakazu Imanari dressing up as manga characters and acting curious. I don’t think we as humans should be afraid of many people, but you should always be wary of another person who will cross dress on a whim, especially if that cross dresser can change out of that skirt and into some magical pants and then yank your arm off.

Lyle Beerbohm doesn’t care about cross dressing and he isn’t afraid of Aoki’s magical pants, he has fancy pants, even if they are shorts, and speaking of not afraid, Beerbohm has no fear of Aoki’s limb snapping ground game. Lyle made this apparent to MMAFighting.com yesterday, read on:

“I like to go to the ground, and he’s one of the best grapplers in the world at lightweight. I think it should be an exciting fight, and I’m not afraid to go to the ground with him. I’m really not. He might think that no one wants to go there with him, but we’ll see what happens when we get there.”

“I think it’s better for me. I like to use elbows, and now I can. I go out there and I don’t care who I’m fighting, I’m there to win and finish. So I think [the Zuffa purchase] will be good for me. …Any time the UFC is behind something, it gets big. Having the UFC back Strikeforce can only lead to good things, in my opinion.”
