Logan Paul has an opponent in mind if he were to fight in the UFC.

Paul has said he wants to compete in an MMA fight once before he stops competing in combat sports. Well, if you’re going to do it, do it big- as in the biggest fight promotion in the world, the UFC.

UFC president Dana White told Paul on his podcast last month that he wouldn’t rule out the possibility by saying, “I’m not saying no.”

Paul has boxed Floyd Mayweather and is coming off a win at WWE’s Wrestlemania. So a fight in the UFC is not that crazy, especially to someone like him. He already has somebody in his sights in this what-if scenario. Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett.

Logan has a fight in mind

On Wednesday, Paul went on The MMA Hour to shoot his shot and call it as well.

“Like look, I found out who I’d like to fight if I did a UFC match: Paddy the Baddy. I swear to God,” Paul said. “They’re saying he’s possibly the next Conor McGregor, right? He’s super charismatic, he’s entertaining as hell, he’s on the come up, he’s young like me, he’s got a real loud mouth. I just like the way he can perform. I think also, in the off-season, he can come up like 25 pounds. The kid blows up in the off-season, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s like someone put a pump in him. So he can get up to 185 and I can get down to 185 and possibly do a UFC match.”

Paul doesn’t have a problem with Pimblett. He said he would even have him on his podcast and challenge him there.

“I think I might have him on my podcast and say to him straight up ‘I would love to fight you in the UFC’. It’s the only thing I don’t know [if I would win], he is a good ass fu*king fighter and I have never had an MMA fight. But, like if I am doing it, obviously I think I am going to win,” Paul said.

When the UFC president was on Paul’s podcast, and he asked who Paul wanted to fight, he didn’t have a name at the time. Well, now he does, and he thinks Pimblett and himself could sell a lot of tickets.

“[Dana White] asked me who I’d want to fight and I didn’t have anyone in mind, and now I’m looking at it and I’m like, okay if I were to do a UFC fight, it needs to be with someone who can sell tickets. Paddy can sell, we’ve seen how he can activate crowds, and he’s still relatively new, he’s young, he’s entertaining. I just think the fans would eat that shit up,” Paul said.

There is no doubt the fight would be huge as Pimblett has a very rabid fanbase, and so does Paul. However, the size difference might be a real problem when it’s all said and done. But shoot, we saw Paul boxer, a much smaller Mayweather, so who the hell knows.
