Kyle Pavao completely snapped his opponent’s arm with a keylock during their Cage Titans bout.
Kyle Pavao Snaps Opponent’s Arm
Debuting amateur lightweights Kyle Pavao and Wayne Downer took center stage in the New England regional mixed martial arts (MMA) circuit at Cage Titans 55 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
In the second round of the contest, fans and the commentators cageside were in for what proved to be a gruesome finish. Pavao locked in a deep keylock on Downer’s left arm, which eventually snapped under the pressure.
It was a highlight reel that certainly turned heads, but was easily missed given all of the other highlight reel finishes making their way on social media this past weekend.

This was Pavao’s first armature appearance in MMA since having already made some grappling appearances for Cage Titans before in the past.
He went to a draw at Cage Titans Combat Night 3, before picking up a heel hook submission victory at Cage Titans 52 in April.
Cage Titans has proven to be quite the talent farm for future UFC fighters; having housed names such as Rob Font, Randy Costa, and Jay Perrin in the past. Perhaps Pavao will join them down the road.
