Let’s try this again, shall we?
Two weeks after their original fight fell through, Ryan Spann and Nikita Krylov will finally collide at UFC Las Vegas. Both fighters look to get their third win in a row at a special catchweight of 215 lbs.
Round 1:
Both fighters wildly exchange with power shots to begin the fight. Spann clinches up with Krylov and proceeds to take him down. Spann goes for a guillotine choke off of his back. Krylov gets his head out . Krylov looks for a bulldog choke which doesn’t go anywhere. Both men momentarily stand up. Krylov takes Spann down, but Spann works his way back up to get a takedown of his own.
Krylov reverses position, toppling Spann. Krylov tries to seize the back of Spann but falls off while doing so. With Krylov dumped onto the ground, Spann rushes in for top position but is caught in a triangle submission by Krylov. Spann taps out within seconds.
