Koscheck doesn’t think GSP does steroids, but he still wants an Olympic-style drug test

From what I remember, Josh Koscheck lost a 29-28 decision to Georges St. Pierre at UFC 74 and he was about one takedown short of winning the third round. The takedown happened late in the third and if GSP didn’t stuff it, the UFC history books would have to be rewritten. Of course, you can also argue that giving Koscheck the first round was an absolute farce. Regardless of who you thought won the bout, the fact still remains that Georges St. Pierre has been on a 7-0 streak since UFC 74 and Josh Koscheck has suspicion that his success may be attributed to performance enhancing drugs. Sorry, ‘per-for-mance enhancing drugs’.

“From what I’ve heard from other fighters in other camps, yeah, [St-Pierre] has done steroids and HGH, possibly. I don’t know. This is just on hearsay information that I’ve gotten.

“B.J. Penn and his camp gave me a little phone call. They were saying, ‘Yeah, he’s on steroids. He’s this; he’s that.’ I said, ‘Yeah, there’s a possibility.’ The guy is pretty ripped all year round.”

“I think Olympic-style testing would be great for our sport”

Georges St. Pierre has consented to the test agreeing with Koscheck that every fighter should be drug tested prior to their bouts. The last time a fighter requested a drug test from an MMA champion, it didn’t turn out so well for the requestee. [Source]
