Khabib’s Father Abdulmanap Invites Conor Mcgregor To Dagestan Reiterating He Holds No Grudges Over Insults Hurled By Irishman Before The UFC 229 Showdown

Conor McGregor who’s known for getting into his opponent’s mind before the fight. Irishman mercilessly insulted Khabib Nurmagomedov about his religion, country and branded his father by calling him a quivering coward on social in the build-up of UFC 229.

Undefeated UFC lightweight champion said before that he’s looking to drag Conor McGregor to the mat and punish him until he can’t take it anymore. Well, Russian kept his words and went on to defeat Irishman by submission the fourth round via neck crank. Then immediately after attacked Mcgregor’s teammate in the crowd that ensued melee inside and outside the Octagon.

Khabib’s father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov recently said he had forgiven Mcgregor for his pre-fight antics, extend the invitation to visit to attend the Sambo tournament in Dagestani in December.

“Distinguished guests, I invite again to the tournament our close friend [actor and former UFC fighter] Oleg Taktarov and McGregor,” Abdulmanap said, per Russia Today. “I said that I forgive him [for all the insults], it’s important to be kind-hearted!”

These words came after Khabib ignites the riots after scoring the win over Mcgregor. That made UFC president Dana White so furious that he said those fighters who were involved in mayhem would no longer be part of UFC. On that Khabib threatened to leave UFC if promotion releases his teammate. Later white said both parties resolve the issue and we’re good and Khabib’s staying with UFC.

Khabib’s father disapproved of his son’s behavior at UFC 229 post-fight melee and said his punishment for his son would be more severe than the UFC’s.

Khabib after the win extended his professional record to 27-0. Mcgregor shortly after the defeat called for a rematch, but Dana White said yesterday Tony Ferguson is a deserving candidate to get a shot at Khabib’s title next. Currently ‘Eagle’ is awaiting punishment from NSAC for his role in post-fight melee on October 24.
