Kamaru Usman was not happy with USADA this week.

The UFC’s anti-doping program, USADA, has had several examples of being ridiculous to the UFC athletes. Recently, Alexander Volkanovski revealed that USADA tested him hours before his second title fight with Max Holloway, which really altered his performance.

The champ is frustrated

On Thursday, UFC welterweight Usman was the latest fighter to express frustration with USADA. The champion blasted them on Twitter.

“Dear @usantidoping there’s a reason u make us fill out our whereabouts. So U know where we are at all times. Disrupting our sleep at 5 am is just plain stupid. Next time I’ll make you guys follow me around all day,” Usman wrote.

For Usman, sleep is very, very important as he defends his title next Saturday against Leon Edwards at UFC 278 in Utah. Sleep and recovery are the most important things for the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter, and having USADA screw up his sleep sucks.

While the program’s random tests are one of the reasons it is so successful, 5 a.m. in the morning is a little excessive, especially at such a crucial time for Usman.

Happy —-> Mad

Last November, Usman received his USADA jacket for 50 perfect clean tests. As you can see from the pictures below, he was happy with USADA, but this past week, the Nigeran Nightmare was just simply annoyed – rightfully so.

Usman vs. Edwards goes down next Saturday at UFC 278 in Salt Lake City.
