Judging by this video, Melvin Guillard’s golf game is on point

Technically, Melvin Guillard’s golf game is explosive. That’s something that Cowboy Cerrone lacks, regardless of his skill level. Both fighters will meet this weekend at UFC 150, but any schmuck can tell you that Guillard’s concentration of explosiveness far exceeds that of Cerrone. We don’t know why that is exactly. Perhaps Melvin Guillard is explosive because we’ve been told that he is. I’ve never seen Guillard ignite in a fiery ball of flesh and blood, nor have I seen his eyeballs shoot out of his head and explode on impact.

Jon Jones, Melvin Guillard, Rashad Evans, and Cheick Kongo are explosive. Jim Miller, Frank Mir, Jon Fitch, and Mark Hominick are not. That’s just the way of MMA, folks. Josh Koscheck is half explosive and half not explosive. Koscheck is microwavable.

We’re pretty sure Eldar Gross, the director of The Reem, is behind this video of Melvin Guillard playing golf in Florida. Actually, we have no evidence that this is the case, but we’re basing our assumption on the expertly-crafted shots and the beautiful cinematography that is inherent to Eldar Gross’ work. Perhaps you’ll understand after watching this clip of Guillard talking about his upcoming UFC 150 bout, and getting down with the irons on a golf course. Props to Esther Lin for the banner pic.
