Josh Barnett handles Kharitonov to move on to the HWGP finals

Black metal reigns supreme. Blood will be consumed tonight and the darkness has claimed another soul for the inevitable war for the earthen plane between heaven and hell: Josh Barnett has submitted Sergei Kharitonov in the first round with an arm triangle choke. Throw up your devil horns, polish your skull ridden shoulder pads and sharpen your battle axe. Metal.

After a frisky opening exchange that looked like Barnett borrowed Yoel Romero’s dancing shoes, the Warmaster closed the distance between a sharp on the feet Kharitonov and slammed him right into a full mount. From there Barnett gained wrist control, said something into the ear of Kharitonov, then proceeded to pour strikes onto the Russian like sacrificial wine. Eventually Barnett says “enough is enough, it is time to appease my master” and clinches his arms around the throat of Kharitonov and steps over to complete the arm triangle choke. Kharitonov taps and Barnett is victorious.

A restrained Barnett shows tons of respect for his HWGP final opponent Cormier but still lets everyone know that he will take Cormier down and defeat his to appease the demon lords.

The Warmaster wins again.
