Jon Jones Is Ready To Go Heavyweight To Defeat Daniel Cormier

Jon Jones: “I Think Fighting Daniel Cormier At Heavyweight Would Be A Bigger Challenge”

Daniel Cormier probably taught he is safe from the only man who defeated him, Jon Bones Jones. Well, Cormier is wrong. Jon Jones would fight him at UFC Heavyweight division! Jon Jones promises to follow Cormier and take his title away!

This might be a big problem for Jones since this is Cormier’s natural weight. On the other side, Jon Jones has never fought against a Heavyweight competitor. But Bones believes he still knows the recipe to defeat DC. (via MMAMania.com)

“I think fighting Daniel Cormier at heavyweight would be a bigger challenge,” Jones said (transcribed by MMA Junkie). “He’s more comfortable there. His body type, that’s where he wants to be. He wants to be big. I think he would be a tougher fight at heavyweight, but I still believe I would win. I believe I have his number. I know how to beat him.”

Jon Jones has already defeated Daniel Cormier two times. The first time, they fought at UFC 182 on January 3, 2015. Jones defended the UFC Light Heavyweight title. Yet, he is later stripped due to violating UFC’s Athlete Code of Conduct policy. They fought for the second time at UFC 214, also for UFC Light Heavyweight belt. Originally, Jon Jones won via head kick KO. But the fight was overturned to no contest when Jon Jones was tested positive on Turinabol. He was stripped of the title again!

Jones’ manager Abe Kawa eagerly waits for USADA decision. In the meantime, Jon Jones trains and posts videos on social networks. What do you think? Can we watch Jon Jones Vs Daniel Cormier at UFC Heavyweight division?
