Jon Jones And Daniel Cormier Continue To Trade Barbs On Social Media
If you thought the former rivals Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones feud has seethed down, think again.
Both Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier fought twice, and ‘Bones’ twice came out victorious inside the Octagon but their second encounter, originally a knockout win for Jones, the results later turned to no-contest after Jones tested positive for steroids following the rematch at UFC 214 last year.
Just days after USADA handed Jon Jones reduced 15-months of retroactive suspension that means ‘Bones’ was eligible to return to Octagon on Oct. 28 that involves Jones ‘Substantial assistance’ to the organization. Former light heavyweight champion put Daniel Cormier on blast for not responding to USADA’s phone calls and threaten to bury ‘DC’ in a third meeting if it happens.
Cormier didn’t waste no time and responded Jones on social media and called him “cheater and a snitch.”
Well, things didn’t settle here, Jones fired back again with mugshots and said to Cormier ‘I run your house.’
“(Daniel Cormier), that’s the face of the man who would have you hand washing his underwear,” Jones wrote. “I run your house.”
The way both nonstop attacking each other on social media; it looks like they will meet for the third time inside the Octagon. But Jones recently linked to meet Alexander Gustafsson for the end of year card and Cormier is expected to defend his heavyweight title against Brock Lesnar, the two heated rivals may not able to lock horns in 2019.
