UFC Light Heavyweight King Jon Jones Is Adamant That He Is “Not In Any Trouble”!
UFC 205-pound champion Jon Jones is in hot water with the law again, as he was charged with one count of battery.
According to the report, Jones was involved in an incident with a cocktail waitress, who claimed the New York-native “slapped her inappropriately, pulled her down to his lap and kissed her neck.”
The waitress also added that Jon “put her into a chokehold and lifted her off the floor”. It happened at the TD’s Eubank Showclub in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jon Jones paid $300 bond and he was not handcuffed. Champ’s spokesman James Hallinan denied the allegations against him. Jones took to his Twitter account and wrote there was no reasons to worry.
I’m definitely not in any trouble my friend, don’t be so quick to believe everything you read on the Internet. 🤙🏾 https://t.co/d3GPuRDfpb

A fan kindly advised Jon Jones to stay inside if he wants to stay out of trouble. “Bones” replied on that tweet, claiming he loves the community too much to keep himself locked up inside. The New York-native also teased a potential December bout.
I know there’s a whole bunch of people hoping for my downfall but there’s even more who are proud of me and love seeing me do well. And screw staying inside, I love this community.. excited to keep climbing, haters going to be mad when I win in December 😩 https://t.co/dmTH0x2Grv

Jon Jones faced legal troubles for a hit-and-run incident in 2015 when he crashed his car into a vehicle driven by a pregnant woman and fled the scene.
In March 2016, the UFC Light Heavyweight king was cited for drag racing, exhibitionist driving, swerving between lanes, and obscuring his license plate’s registration. Yet, he reached a plea deal and slipped through with 60 hours of community service.
What are your thoughts on Jones response to battery allegations? Do you stand by his side?
