Joe Rogan doesn’t believe bodybuilder Bradley Martyn has a chance in hell of beating flyweight great Demetrious Johnson in a fight.

Martyn has drawn the ire of the MMA community in recent months after openly suggesting that he could handle himself in a street fight with fighters such as Nate Diaz and reigning ONE flyweight world champion, Demetrious Johnson. Getting wind of those comments, ‘Mighty Mouse’ let mutual friend and fellow former UFC star, Brendan Schaub know that he was 100% down to fight Martyn.

Speaking about the potential crossover bout alongside stand-up comedian Bryan Callen, Joe Rogan was quick to suggest that Martyn has absolutely no chance against Demetrious Johnson despite holding a significant height and weight advantage.

“Bradley Martyn has no chance. He has no chance,” Rogan said without hesitation during a recent episode of his popular podcast. “He has no chance. Zero chance. He’s gonna get his back taken. Oh, yes. 100% gonna get choked out.

Demetrious Johnson Responds to Bradley Martyn’s Call Out

‘Mighty Mouse’ is hailed by many as the greatest flyweight in the history of the sport, with some even suggesting he is the pound-for-pound greatest fighter in mixed martial arts. It’s a hard statement to argue considering his illustrious career which has featured multiple world-title reigns.

‘Mighty Mouse’ holds the distinction of being the first-ever UFC flyweight champion, defending the title an incredible 11 times. After running through practically every name in the division, Johnson moved to ONE Championship in a historic trade between the two promotions. Since then, Johnson has won the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix tournament and the ONE flyweight world championship. He recently completed a trilogy with former ONE world champion Adriano Moraes at ONE Fight Night 10 in May, securing a second-straight win to retain the title in definitive fashion.

“It’s funny, you know,” Johnson said on Henry Cejudo’s YouTube channel. “He’s 265 pounds, he’s a bodybuilder, so obviously he has got the weight advantage. But at the end of the day, that’s the beautiful thing about grappling. It’s not about weight, it’s about technique, and we’re going to try to grapple.

“I told Brendan Schaub that I want to make it happen,” he continued. “I’m busy doing other things right now, but when I get back from all my vacation I’m going to fly down to Calabasas and we’re gonna roll, man. I’m gonna roll him up.”
