Jedrzejczyk was the undisputed queen of the women’s 115 lbs division from early 2015 until late last year. She won six straight title fights and beat the likes of Claudia Gadelha, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, and Jessica Andrade along the way. Her reign as a strawweight champion snapped last year when Rose Namajunas defeated her via shocking first-round KO at UFC 217 last November and most recently coming off a second straight championship defeat to current champion Rose Namajunas at UFC 223.
Colorado-based fighter Tecia Torres is coming off a unanimous decision to Jessica Andrade at UFC on FOX 28 last February that ending her three-fight skid.
UFC on FOX 30 is set to take place on July 28, 2018, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. UFC currently doesn’t have a headliner booked yet, but the co-main event features a featherweights Jose Aldo and Jeremy Stephens.
